First Response Home Inspection was founded in 2013 by Shane Huffman, an off-duty firefighter, in Abilene, TX. Since then Shane has performed over 1000 quality residential home inspections for clients. Shane graduated from Abilene High School (Go Eagles!) in 2004 and went on to get a degree from Texas Tech University (Wreck Em!) in 2008. Shane is a state certified firefighter and a licensed paramedic as well as a state licensed professional home inspector through the Texas Real Estate Commission (License #: 20868). Shane studied home inspection at Real Estate Training Systems in Arlington, TX. Shane has a wife, Sarah, and three young children Hadley (7),  Brooks (5), and Jace (3).
