Gary Illyes is a webmaster trends analyst at Google who is responsible for helping webmasters make better websites to enhance the search experience. He has become somewhat of an unofficial spokesperson for Google since Matt Cutts stepped down years back.
He recently started a "Did You Know?" series of tweets about SEO and Google that you may or may not already know. Nothing mind blowing, but could still be helpful to some and affirmation to others.
Either way, communication directly from someone who understands how Google's algorithm is evolving and changing is a good thing.
